Judson R. Janh
Judson R. Jahn, a native of Ohio, has lived in South Carolina since 1987. Mr. Jahn graduated from Limestone College with a B.S. degree in Economics. He has a Master of Business Administration degree from Clemson University and earned his Juris Doctorate from Mercer University School of Law in 1994, where he was a member of the Mercer Law Review. In 2012, Mr. Jahn graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Alabama School of Law with an LL.M. in Taxation.
Mr. Jahn was admitted to the practice of law and joined Timothy C. Merrell as an associate in 1994. Mr. Jahn practices in the areas of real estate law and taxation. In January, 1995, Mr. Jahn joined the faculty of the College of Business and Behavioral Science at Clemson University, where he is currently a Senior Lecturer of Law and Taxation in the School of Accountancy and Finance. At Clemson, Mr. Jahn teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses in Real Estate Law and International Business Law and graduate courses in Taxation of Business Decisions and International Taxation. He is also the Director of the Clemson in Europe study abroad program, where he teaches International Business Law in a summer program at Oxford University.
Mr. Jahn is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association and the American Bar Association. He is licensed to practice law in the South Carolina State Courts, United States District Court for the District of South Carolina, and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of South Carolina. Mr. Jahn, his wife, and two children live in Anderson, South Carolina, and are members of the First Presbyterian Church.
